AARO Prague - Current Events

On <bold>June 8th</bold>, we begin a new series of <bold>AARO
Movie</bold> screenings, featuring movies of topical interest, movies
specially requested by AARO members and also classic Czech movies from
all eras, with English subtitles. The screenings will be from a film
print or DVD according to availability. A one hour social will precede
the movie.

We will continue to organise the larger, pre-release exclusives as and
when this is possible - please watch for announcements.

This month's presentation is Martin Scorsese's "<bold>The
Aviator</bold>" starring Leonardo DiCaprio as the eccentric
millionaire Howard Hughes. The DVD we will project from is the special
Academy edition as provided to all Academy members prior to this
year's Oscar ceremony, as kindly provided by our own Academy member,
Mr. Norbert Auerbach.

Social starts at 6pm, movie begins 7pm sharp.

Don't forget this Thursday 19th May is the second of our monthly AARO
3rd Thursday get togethers.

We will meet again from 6pm in Kontraverze, Stepanska 9, Prague 2
(between Jecna and Zitna), dowstairs to the left in the salonek.

All those who have confirmed for the tour of the Archbishop's
Palace this Friday, May 6th, we shall meet in front of the Palace at
Hradcanske Nam. 16 from 2:50pm.
