AARO - 3rd Thursday - August 21st
Dear AARO Members,
August 3rd Thursday takes place this coming Thursday, August 21st from 6pm.
The venue this month will be Botel Admiral, on the Smichov bank of the Vltava, directions below.
The AARO Board are dedicating this month's gathering to AARO Founder Members and longtime Prague residents, Barbara and Jerry Randall who will soon be leaving us to return to the United States.
Barbara and Jerry came to Prague in 1992 not expecting that their stay would last 16 years. But such is the allure of Prague, and likewise the good fortune of all of those who have come to know this charming couple over the years.
Barbara has been greatly involved in the International Women's Association of Prague for many years, served on the AARO Board as Events Chair as well as running several groups for glass enthusiasts, bridge, mah jong and others.
Jerry has long been Treasurer of AARO, was involved in the founding of both AARO and the American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic, served on the board of the Foundation for Museums and Galleries in Prague, is CEO of First Capital Investment, a Prague-based financial consultancy.
Please join us to wish Jerry and Barbara well in their coming adventures.
