AARO - 3rd Thursday - October 18th
Dear AARO Members,
Third Thursday is tomorrow, 18th October. Yes, it's rather short
notice - I was caught out by there being 5 Thursdays this month.
If any of you would like to get together, there is space reserved at
Braunuv Sklep from 6pm, so do stop by for a drink, chat or something
from the excellent menu.
Please be kind enough to let me know if you intend to come, thanks.

To AARO members
Hi,
I enclose an invitation to a concert of Radoslav Kvapil, a foremost Czech pianist and the founder and chairman of the International Dvorak Society, at the Zbiroh Castle on October 26, 2007. Zbiroh lies about 1 hour from Prague, in the direction of Plzen. It has been beautifully renovated and the restaurant is excellent, I have been there several times. There will be a special bus going to Zbiroh for this occasion and anyone interested please get in touch with me.
Mr. Kvapil will perform the same program at Rudolfinum the following day, on October 27, at 19:30. This concert will be taped by the Czech radio. Tickets are still available at FOK ticket office, at the back of Obecni dum, facing the hotel Zlata Praha. The telephone number of the ticket office is 222-002-336.
