AARO Movie - February 11th 2009 - Valkyrie
Dear AARO Members,
Please save the date of Wednesday February 11th for our next pre-release movie exclusive.
We are pleased to present Valkyrie, the controversial story of the attempted assassination of Adolf Hitler, directed by Brian Singer (The Usual Suspects, X-Men) and starring Tom Cruise, Carice Van Houten, Kenneth Brannagh and Terence Stamp.
Certificate: PG 13
The movie will begin at 8pm, there will be a pre-movie social from 7pm, the venue is Kino Atlas, Sokolovska 1, Prague 8.
Please rsvp no later than Friday January 2nd to this address.

AARO - 3rd Thursday - 18th December
Dear AARO Members,
By popular request, I have arranged a final 3rd Thursday for 2008, to take place next week at Braunuv Sklep, directions below. There will not be a movie this month, DVD evenings will continue in the New Year if the interest is there, possibly separate from 3rd Thursday - watch for announcements.
If the festive season has not already claimed that evening in your calendar, then please do stop by for some seasonal merriment aided by quality Czech beer, extensive wine options and a rich choice from the menu.
Prices are very reasonable - 25 CZK for a large Gambrinus, 33 CZK for a large Pilsner, main courses from 100 CZK.
If you are not able to attend, please allow me to take this opportunity on behalf of the AARO Prague Board to wish you all the greetings of the season, a happy and prosperous 2009 and to thank you for your support for the group in 2008. I very much hope you will all rejoin for the New Year, we are already working on the 2009 Events calendar, to kick off with a pre-release screening of the Tom Cruise movie Valkyrie in early February - details to be announced soon.
