AARO Diary Date - Thurs 27th April - Drinks

Dear AARO Members,
Please save the date of Thursday April 27th, 6pm - 8pm.
We are pleased to announce an informal drinks party, to be kindly hosted by Dr. Marilyn Wyatt at the DCM's Residence in Prague 6.
This event will be for members only, with a maximum of 30 places. Drinks and light refreshments will be served.
Please rsvp no later than Friday 14th April. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Further details to be announced in due course.

AARO 3rd Thursday - 16th March

AARO 3rd Thursday is this week, the 16th. Once again, we have space
reserved from 6pm at Restaurace Svet, Jecna 5, Prague 2.
Members and guests are welcome to come for a drink, a chat, a bite to
eat, or all three.
Or just come and beat the snowy blues with some good company.
Please let me know if you plan to attend. If you're not sure, you
don't rsvp and you'd still like to join us on Thursday, come anyway!

For new members or those who have not yet attended, 3rd Thursday is
AARO's monthly informal gathering.
This event is for socializing, airing views on the group or other
issues of mutual interest, introducing prospective members.
Or just drinking, talking and eating... 3rd Thursday is whatever
members would like it to be. Suggestions are always welcome.
We generally sit outside when the weather is fine. Hard to imagine at
the moment, but let's cherish the prospect!
Please note that 3rd Thursday is a pay-your-own event.

Notice to AARO Members - US Embassy Federal Voting Assistance Workshop - March 8th

The United States Embassy would like to welcome AARO’s participation in an upcoming Federal Voting Assistance Workshop to be held at the Embassy’s Woodrow Wilson Center (Trziste 13  118 01 Praha 1) on March 8 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  Ms. Polli Brunelli the Director of the Federal Voting Assistance Program will offer a presentation on voting overseas.  Ms. Brunelli’s biography is attached.  Given AARO’s excellent outreach efforts among the American community in Prague, we would welcome representatives attending the conference.  Voting materials and applications for absentee ballots will be available at the presentation.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at the information below.
