Message to American Citizens Regarding Travel to Austria
Dear American Citizen Residents of the Czech Republic:
This is just to let you know that during the month of June, when Austria is co-hosting the European Football Championship, Austria will reinstitute some border controls that were dismantled when the Czech Republic joined the Schengen Zone. Anybody entering Austria during that period is subject to inspection by border authorities and must present a valid passport. The situation will return to normal in July.
