AARO - 3rd Thursday - 20th November
Dear AARO Members,
This month we will once again have a social hour followed by the showing of a movie from DVD, from a selection of nominees for this year's European Film Awards, kindly made to AARO available to AARO by Mr. Norbert Auerbach. Many of these movies are not yet possible to see in cinemas.
This month's choice is O' Horten from Danish director Bent Hamer. This charming, gentle movie was officially selected for the 2008 Cannes Film Festival in the section Un Certain Regard. It tells the story of retiring train driver Odd Horten, who is preparing for his final drive when his life begins to take unexpected turns.
We will meet from 6pm in the salonek of Braunuv Sklep with the movie starting at 7pm. You are welcome to order food before the movie, drinks will continue to be served during the movie.
The salonek is to the right as you enter the restaurant.
