Call of Dudy is the first and only documentary film on the Czech bagpiping tradition.  Shot in South and West Bohemia, the film captures the people and the places which are keeping this centuries-old tradition alive today and for future generations.  Michael Cwach, Fulbright student, inspired Jefe Brown to make the film, which has been screened across Europe and the United States.

The band Blaťácký soubor from Ševětín represents the musical traditions of the Blata region.

Blaťácký soubor ze Ševětína

Film Call of Dudy je první a jediný dokument o české dudácké tradici.  Při natáčení v jižních a západních Čechách filmaři zachytili hudebníky, kteří tuto tradici uchovávají živou pro budoucí pokolení.  Michael Cwach, stipendista Fulbrightova programu, inspiroval Jefa Browna k natočení filmu, který byl už promítán v Evropě i ve Spojených státech.
